We live in the information society, and I cannot keep up.  The flow is constant, the feeds are endless.  Whether you are conservative, liberal or a little bit of everything in between.  There is something for everyone on these internets – but I finally discovered what has been missing for me.  Me.  I have experience, I have opinions, and I have lived long enough to tell my own stories – uninteresting as they might be.

What is important for me and this journey I am embarking on with this blog is that my stories are captured.  I live a life that is filled to capacity with family and occupation, which leaves little time to reflect.  I realize now more than ever, whether it’s 15 minutes in my car or one hour on my iPad, it is essential for me to tell my story.

As a security professional, I see more than my fair share of opportunities to witness to the up and coming talent in the pipeline.  This is my chance to make my contribution to the community at large – and one day look back at the evidence of my successes….or failures.
